Eating/Cooking Spoon – Birch Wood

A 29 cm eating and cooking spoon, hand-carved from birch wood sourced in northern Germany and finished with walnut oil for added protection. This piece is part of a collection I created while spending time back in my hometown — a period when carving became my source of peace and meditation. The wood revealed a beautiful natural pattern, and carving it felt like a quiet conversation with the material itself. The result is a simple yet graceful design that highlights the birch’s natural beauty. For longevity, hand wash only and avoid prolonged water exposure.
